Commack High School Boys Varsity Soccer vs. Northport
This match was quite a battle and ended up in a 1-1 tie.
Five o’clock soccer games are never a great idea for photography and, as the season progresses, they’ll be even a less great idea. You just run out of light in the second half. I was up at ISO 10,000 near the end of the regular match play and I ended up leaving because the light just ran out before overtime started.
If you’re wondering what all those little white dots are in some of the photos in the second half they’re little gnat-sized insects that were all over the field. Luckily they didn’t bite so they weren’t too annoying but they made for an interesting addition to some of the photos.
