Commack High School Varsity Field Hockey vs. Half Hollow Hills - Senior Day
Luckily, the weather held out for this senior day game. We were able to get the family pics in and most of the game with just a few sprinkles.
After halftime it got pretty overcast and the light started to fade. By the end of the game I was shooting at ISO 10,000 to get 1/1000 sec. wide open. All photos were taken with a Sony a1 and 100-400mm zoom, even the group shots. I did have to back them up quite a bit. I usually bring a 50mm prime with me for the family photos but I didn’t want to start changing lenses in the rain so I left it home.
