Commack High School Girls Varsity Tennis vs. Kings Park
Congratulations to the Commack girls tennis team on their win over Kings Park last Wednesday.
They’re doing some major work on the baseball field behind the tennis courts. That’s usually the direction I like to shoot into because on the other side is the parking lot filled with shiny cars. This time, unfortunately, the baseball field was filled with colorful earth movers and other construction equipment. So… this was a lose-lose situation as far as clean backgrounds go. I decided to stick with the baseball field because most of it was in the shadows.
These images were all taken with a Sony a1 and a 100-400mm zoom. Exposure was 1/2000 sec., wide open aperture (f/4 - f/5.6) and auto-ISO, which gave me ISO’s of between 250 and 500 for most photos. The wide shots at the beginning of the gallery were taken with an iPhone 14.
