Commack High School Girls Varsity Golf
Caught the Commack girls golf team at a practice at Sunken Meadow golf course on Wednesday. Not to mention a small herd of deer.
I always like to photograph golf at a practice if possible. Everyone is a little more relaxed and there are fewer foursomes for me to deal with.
Very bright, contrasty light for this one; lots of post-processing work to do. Lots of the shots are backlighted and even the ones that aren’t have dark backgrounds so you get a lot of contrast either way. You really need to dial in a lot of negative exposure compensation, sometimes up to two stops, because your camera’s meter will always overexpose.
